Last weekend I went over to the Tampa, Lowry Park Zoo. I have not gotten a chance to visit the Lowry Park Zoo, but I have heard such wonderful things about it. It was probably one of florida’s coldedst days out, but I made sure to put on lots of layers. Some of the animals weren’t out due to the cold weather, but I had a wonderful time and even got to have some close encounters with some of the animals!

I got to feed the Giraffe’s, I was so excited because they are my favorite animal!

With Christmas just behind us and the new year aproaching in a couple of days the parties are beinging to slow down. I can’t wait for the New Year and all that comes with it!

A couple of weeks ago I got to shoot the annual Knight Electric Christmas Party. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun, surrounded by friends and family! The place was decorated with a beach Christmas theme, which was very fun and interesting, it even included a mermaid!

Everyone brought a toy to donate to kids in need. They filled a boat full!

A couple of weeks back I got to capture this wonderful couple, Matt and Chelsea. They are so much fun and so full of love for each other! We meet up in Ybor and Chelsea had such a great idea to do some photo’s of them with their DS’s. I love that they came up with this idea it was so fun and different. Here are some shots from their engagement shoot.

This weekend we headed over to the park which a friend had told us that we lived in walking distance to. I wasn’t sure about this because I felt like I had explored our neighbor hood pretty well, but low and behold there was a park hiding pretty much in our back yard! It isn’t a huge park, but it is quite, we can take the dogs there, it is on the water, and did I mention the best perk?  It is pretty much in our back yard! Saturday Jer and I took lunch and the pups there. They loved it and we loved getting some fresh air. I brought along my new lens and got to try it out before my photo shoot later that day. (which there will be a sneak peak coming up very soon!)

and I don’t remember the rest of the joke!  But this was just one of many jokes that were told at Tara’s photo shoot. Tara was such a fun and out going girl, telling jokes and just making us crack up. She was great to work with, and it was so fun to capture her wonderful personality. We went to Ybor for the shoot and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. Here are a couple shots from the day.

Last Saturday me and the family headed over to Brooksville to watch the men race! The day had finally come, Jeremy and his dad had been working on this car since January and it was finally ready to race! So we were out in the middle of no where on an old runway while corvettes zoomed around cones and kicking up tons of dust. They were one of the top in time, but they defiantly got first place for the coolest and the loudest cars there. When they start that engine, everyone knows! After all the racing was done I got to go on the “fun run” at the end, gosh I was so scared and I got really sick with all the turns and figure eights and stuff. I guess I am just meant to be in the pit, and I am fine with that!
